so wawanesa only insures "good" drivers meaning at most 1 point...so what if you get 2 tickets for 2 points? will they just drop you???
i doubt they would drop you...
but you have to have a good driving record to even be considered so it seems...
i never heard of em until i read about them here..

this is good info for those with clean records, but what of those like me who had a bad past on our records? lol yea i had a few incidents back in the day well almost 3-5 years ago now so ive grown up since then, anyways i just moved to cali from ny area so i had to look for new insurance after i got the s2k, and ive been looking day and night and the cheapest i found was 21century so i would recommend you atleast get a quote from them, i mean it doesnt hurt

I think it was from Tritium-Pie that i heard about Wawanesa.
When i got a quote for the S, it was around $900/year for 100/300/100,
less than half of my current policy with State Farm

i have wawa and pay less than $100/month for full coverage + tow + rental reimburse. i haven't had to make a claim yet, but believe they have the highest ratings from JD Power or the like, and have had nothing but quick, friendly help anytime i've called with a question.
as for getting dropped ... they don't do their insurance by the 1/2, they always do it by the full year. i don't know if they would drop you if you accrued 2+ points, but if they did, it wouldn't be until the end of your full year.

I've heard good stories about claims through Wawanesa, but no personal experience. When I was shopping insurance, Wawanesa was the cheapest, and Mercury (whom I ended up going with) was the second cheapest. I did have one claim with Mercury and it went fine.

I've got Wawanesa and they are awesome. I have 100/300/100 with towing and rental and I pay $1206 a year for 01 S2k & 03 Ex Element. I've been with Wawanesa now for 2 years, no points.
I was paying $2100 a year with Mercury before.
My g/f was paying $2112 a year for 50/100 coverage on her 98 Civic with 1 point (Progressive)
She now pays $984 a month for higher 100/300 coverage with Wawanesa.
Wawanesa rocks!

If you have a Costco membership, you might try to buy through Costco (Wawanesa). It might be cheaper.
rates were pretty high there actually..
