If you think Comptech is too loud, I hear STOCK is a quiet dual exhaust

My comptech exhaust actually sounds less loud after installing the comptech header! Its almost like less drone, and more of a raspy/loud vtec engagement for the first 1,000 rpm of vtec.

Hey Casey, that's interesting to know. I noticed my exhaust also sound raspier with the header. I didn't like the raspy sound thus why I took it off.
The Comptech exhaust seem to be a little louder than my current single apexi. I actually like the Comptech sound, deep. But I need it slightly less.

I've listened to invidia today when I went picked up the spacers in Milpitas. I thought it is really loud.

Cpx, I work in Oakland. Would love to hear it. I'll pm you.

Anyone have any take on HKS?

hks sounds better than fujitsubo overall. maybe one of the best sounding exhausts when paired with a tp or hfc. little louder and more aggressive than the fujitsubo. but it booms/drones a little as you decelerate through 3k rpm to a stop.

If he can't handle the comptech why in the world recommend a HKS or an Invidia? They're the next notch up (or 2) in volume...

OP go fujitsubo, or stock with some different mufflers

+1 for Fujitsubos. They're quiet unless you're mashing on the pedal. They look great and the quality is very good too. The Invidia Q300 is slightly louder, I believe.
