I am looking to purchase a new 2006 or 2007 S2K within the next 2 weeks. I was hoping to get some insight from the Bay Area members on their experience with particular dealers and/or sales persons. If you don't mind, please include your OTD price too, so I know what to shoot for.

Thanks in advance!
Let me know when you are ready to buy.

I'll get you a good deal.

Livermore had the color I wanted, so that's where I bought my car. My salesman was John Paek, and he was very honest and easy to deal with through the whole process. He matched San Leanrdo's price without any complaint. A new incentive came through from Honda the day before I committed to buy, and I knew about it from edmunds.com before he did, but he adjusted the price to include the incentive, again without complaint. Just be sure to check out the current incentives yourself, in case a new one comes out that the salesman is not aware of.
So how much did you end up paying out the door?

I don't remember out the door, but it was $29,200 plus tax and DMV fees. This was last October, for a 2005 model, with a $750 dealer incentive.

Since no one from the santa clara area is chiming in. I guess the dealers around here arent that great. I guess I'll have to go out further.

Also since we are talking about dealers, Dublin Honda has one of the top S2000 techs in California. Rob is very experienced with stock and heavily modded S2000s. He worked on my car from time to time right up until I sold it back in March. If you have any issues give Kip a call and ask for Rob.
