I have a 9" slash on my soft top. I don't want to just patch since it's large and it's relatively wet in the City. What's a good shop to go to in San Francisco or Mountain View?

From all the posts of people looking to replace their soft tops it looks like we should hook up with a shop and do a group buy/install in the Bay Area. I'd be in for it.

Hook it up Ic2sks! Or have you already had yours installed.

I'm in the same boat as you and been meaning to fix my soft top for awhile but just keep getting busy(not as bad as your slash tho). the place I found was this: Val's Auto Upholstery(specialize on softops for any convertible) http://www.yelp.com/biz/vals-auto-up...-san-francisco located here in dwn town SF

We totally should band up and get a volume discount. I don't mind contacting a shop. Let's get a few more users signed up!

If you already have a soft top replacement, sell it and buy a hardtop. If you don't have one yet, save up and get a hardtop!

this seems to be a common question on the board... maybe we should make a thread dedicated to this topic and update the "Common Thread Links" pinned thread?

Was planning on installing mine either this weekend or next. Supposed to rain this weekend so I'm not sure if I'll do it but I really want to
