Where to patch my roof?
Well, after 8 years of sitting out in the driveway, my top is finally showing signs of two "cracks" at the usual spots. I'd like to have these cracks patched before they start leaking in the rain. So does anyone have a recommendation for a shop in the South Bay to patch the top? Does anyone have any experience with Premier Auto Top in Santa Clara? Thanks.

I had the same problem. I went to Premier and asked them how much it would be just to patch the inside to prevent the tears from actually becoming a hole. He said it would be $200+ since they are diamond certified etc etc...
I found Vargas Upholstery on El Camino in Sunnyvale (couple miles down from Premier) and the owner reinforced the inside of my top for $20. They used some black vinyl to reinforce the usual wear spots on the inside of the soft top. Hope this helps

Yu888, good to hear a voice from the past. Yea, an old fart like me is still around, too lazy to change my car, but I did get my wife a new Lexus last Thanksgiving. How are things in Shanghai?

Since the bad review is from mid January 2008 (!!), I don't know if they are still a good place to go. Any other recommendations?
