Default where to get your CEL codes read for free?
I have a CEL and i just bought the damn car. anyways, where can I get it read for free in or near the east bay?

i went to autozone and they said they stopped doing it 2 years ago.

either free or under 30$

With the way Laws are now in CA your best bet it to find a friend with a OBDII scanner (see Friday night meet).

go to www.aamco.com

they have a coupon for a free scan valid till mid October or so if you don't want to wait. I just pulled a CEL and went there and told me what it was.

Friday night meets are in Milpitas, at Sweethearts candy. Generally about 10pm - X time.
