As for going to the Metreon neighborhood, the problem is in finding decent parking. There used to be an open-air parking lot across the street from the Metreon, with wide spaces, but that lot has now been torned up and under construction. The last time I was there, I ended up parking in the multi-story parking garage across the street, but the stalls are so narrow that even for the S2000, it is hard to get in and out. I was so afraid to get dings on my doors. Fortunately, I was parked between two cars that did not move, so I escaped before any possible damage was made.

When parking near metreon, park across the street in that big garage. The secret is to park on the higher floors since it is less crowded; also, the parking spots around the perimeter of the of the garage are actually quite large. All you have to do is park as close to the support column and no one will hit you.
