Where do you take your car to get detailed?
I just feel like getting the works done on detailing my car since it hasn't looked new in a long time.
Does anyone know someone who does auto detailing?

Aaron (espelirS2K)
His website's not done just yet but send him a PM. He's awesome, he does fantastic work, and he's a fellow S2K'er to boot

^ thanks.
I also found these guys:
http://autoplatinumdetail.com/index-1.html
And they got good reviews on Yelp. I think you can basically get a full detail inside and out for around $100.

lol thats a bad excuse for a detail, no swirl removal at all? If you go to S2ki's detailer's section you'll notice that every detailer from do-it-yourselfers to pros use a machine to do almost any detail. Swirl removal is what gives your car depth in the paint reflectiveness, you should consider Espelir's job.
I actually started a small detailing practice as a side-job for family and friends and let me tell you for 100$ to a stranger it's not worth it. I did it for 60$ for friends/family but it usually took 6-7hours to do a 90% paint correction, and another 2-3hours cleaning up (washings pads/towels)
just food for thought, you should really consider a real detailer that knows what they're doing.

I think I used incorrect terminology. I just meant I want my car washed and looking nice inside and out. I don't have any swirls (that i'm aware of) that need to be removed.
I'm looking for:
-wash
-claybar
-wax
-interior detailing

plus 1 for Aaron (espelirs2k )
you can see many of his samples in the wash and wax forum as well
p.s. i agree with dagle, 100 bucks aint worth it for any stranger for any medium to heavy paint corection that's needed

Thanks guys!
Expect to pay $500+ for paint correction (usually billed by the hour) for a reputable detailer with awesome reputation. Just thought I'd share a number with you all.
Anyways, thanks again for the props, and PM sent!

you probably dont notice your swirls as much since you have a silverstone. if you never had a detail before then there is probably swirls all over your paint.
if all your looking for is a simple wash and wax, interior clean, why dont you just do it yourself, it isnt that hard..
