Where do you guys recommend to buy tires from?

I just had two rear S02's mounted at Neilson (sp?) Automotive in San Carlos. They were on the Tire Rack list of recommended installers. A good, quick job for $17.50/tire out the door. If your car is lowered, I doubt it will fit onto their lift, so you may want to call them and see if they'll still do it if you car is lowered.

If you guys have a buddy, or extra set of wheels, I usually drop wheels and tires off loose at the tire places. Too many horror stories with impact wrenches and employees who think they are nascar pit guys.

Vilven tires would be the place to go for Kumho race tires.
217-583-3244 ask for Bob.

AIM tires at Sears Point is great for race tires too, they have tons of Hoosiers and Toyo's.
