Where are the cheapest S03s (rear), and do I really need 245s?

Default Where are the cheapest S03s (rear), and do I really need 245s?

Hyperpm mentioned that the 225 so3s that I currently have on were too small for the car. And theyre on their way out, so its time to replace. Even with the blower, Ive never had a problem with wheelspin on acceleration and the car is seldom driven very hard. Am I going to see a considerable drop in mileage if I increase to a 245?

Please advise.

thanks.

If you check the width of the OEM rear S-02 (225) and compare it to most other 225 tires, you will find the OEM 225 is actually closer in width to most 245 tires. Your mileage won't change, but the car will feel more planted. 225 non-S-02's on the rear is serious oversteer. Must be a handful right now with the blower

Thats just the thing! Ive never had a problem with it! Then again, Ive never really hit a corner under boost in the lower gears, so I cant really say.

So what the cheapest place to get them, then? Tirerack? I can only find 225 S03s when I search under s2k.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...romCompare1=yes

Order by phone, ask for Jim, and tell him you are from S2Ki.

Your car is going to feel so much better. I think you'll be able to corner harder.

Damnit.

191 per tire.

$415 out the door sounds pretty good to me for S03s.

Quick Reply: Where are the cheapest S03s (rear), and do I really need 245s?
