Default Where can I buy an OEM Front Lip?

Hey guys,

New to the s2k world and I was wondering where I could get an OEM front lip for my 2001 s2000 (ap1 front).

I know handaaccessories has it but its nearly 400 shipped...

Any replicas or will buying a rep and painting it cost nearly as much??

you can find dirt cheap sub par quality lips on ebay or you can search for a used one on the "for sale" threads here.

most of the non-genuine lips do not come with the weather strip, which can leave gaps between the bumper and lip.

I got mine for roughly 400 shipped, but for a replica from ebay (which still fit okay) you'll be looking at 100+shipping + the time and money for a paint match on the lip. In the end you'll probably come out about 100 bucks cheaper doing the replica lip painted. However the down sides of it are that the fitment won't be perfect. There will be no factory weatherstripping and if you don't figure that out it'll rub against your bumper and cause scratches. Install won't be as straight forward, as I installed my lip 20 minutes before a Friday night meet with the OEM install kit without instructions.

I don't think you can buy the OEM weather stripping anywhere. Best bet would be to buy some foam tape or something similar to prevent the lip from running up against the bumper.

Nope, that is attached to the lip. I have the OEM Honda lip, I bought it from a member in Texas used & when it arrived the lip was cracked due to shipping mishandling.

I eneded up getting it repaired & painted, the shop was stupid & removed the rubber lining attached along the lip .

It installs & fits well, I just dont have the rubber strip anymore which makes it look fake - however, it looks much cleaner without it.
