Default where can i buy bilstein pss9

hello
i've done some research and found the bilstien pss9 is a pretty decent set of coilovers. my question is where could be a reliable place to purchase this? where did you get yours from?

(does anyone have a picture of the car with these installed? tried to search but couldn't find anything.)

thanks a lot.

Any vendor in the site is a good place. Shoot them a pm and see which 1 is cheaper

Here's when I used to have pss9's. Dropped lowest in the rear, front had 1/4" to go lower. Ride quality suffered because it was below Bilsteins lowest recommended height. I raised it back up to their recommendation and it handled great and DD was comfortable.

I bought my PSS's at partsgeek.com but I think there might be places that offer them for less now.

oh no. i like that set up actually.
so how low is the recommended drop? how low was yours approximately?

so how did it suffer? was the handling diminished because it was lower than recommendation? or the ride was too harsh? or some thing else?

ok
after a researching, i've got really confused with choices.

here is the issue: i don't track my car and not planning to in the near future, but wish to upgrade the suspension and improve the handling (with a nice look) because i enjoy weekends mountain runs.

so i've got some choices here,
kw v3 is very nice but way out of my budget. they are around 2g's.

bilstien pss9, is it too much for my driving since i don't track the car? does the car still have a clean nice low drop within the recommendation?

buddy club n, how's the handling of this one? some say it's worse than stock? is it true?

i've searched a lot, but none of the posts i've read resolve any issues.
please give me a hint
thanks again.

My gf always said that the ride with the pss9's were a bit bouncy no matter what settings I had on it. If I had it too soft it was good for her but made the car feel floaty. If I had it semi stiff it handled great but she didn't like how firm the ride was.

Originally when I first put in the pss9's I lowered it past the recommended lowest height. Ride was too bouncy but it still handled good. After a week I raised it back to the lowest recommended height and the ride got better. Less bounce and was nice and firm. Nothing bone jarring but noticeably stiffer than stock.

Now with the v3's it was night and day. I went softer on the compression (1.5 turns) and one click softer on the rebound. My gf said it feels and acts like a normal car. "Normal" I guess was the way it was stock. She doesn't complain on any kind of road surface. It handles way better and DD is a lot more comfortable.

I think Sakai saw my car on the recommended lowest height with the bilsteins. Chime on in Lance lol

It's not low, but it's a nice drop. 1.5" finger drop all around.

Honestly, I say save up for the V3's. All the reviews I read on here, everyone says its too much for street. I say it's perfect for street once you dial it in.

Fujin, care to tell him how your test ride in my car was

Yeah, looking at ~$1320 shipped to CA. Warehouses in NJ and CA, so tax applies.

Any other deals out there?
