I am gonna welding a roll cage for my car, and I just readed SCCA's requirement.
Just wondring where to get the materials? I mean the tube.

Do you have a tubing bender? What material are you going to make it out of? OD? ID? Are you going to heat treat it after welding? How are you welding it, MIG, TIG,..? powder coating? Have you designed it out yet? Know how much material you will need? Alot of questions and associated costs with doing it yourself. Locally i don't know anyplace, but onlinemetals is an option if you don't mind shipping, they are expensive, but have a lot of options for material.

you can just buy the tubes at bay area metal co in san francisco or alan steel & supply co in redwood city
