Well, I have a suggestion. The Bayarea is really a tough place to meet people. At 19, I'd suggest she start taking a few college classes at the local junior college. she would meet people her age and might find some interesting things to learn about. I forget where you said you are living, but the best bets for meeting people would probably be, Foothill College, West Valley, and De Anza, in the order. Hang in there. Adjusting to any new area is difficult and takes time. I'm sure your wife went through that when she came to the States. I wouldn't down play the intimidation factor either. Your wife is beautiful and that can be threatening to other women, especially the insecure ones. Where does she work? Perhaps she needs a job with a different atmosphere.

Yes, she had lots of fun and it was good for her. She was very happy except for the fact that I had to go back to work last night.
