When should I change my spark plugs?
the car is a MY05 so it's coming up on its 6th year. I'm like 80 miles from breaking 30K miles on it and was wondering if I should change the spark plugs or leave it until 60K or whatever it's recommended to change?

Your best bet is to take them out and see what they look like.
I changed mine at 30000 but that was because of all the blow by I was getting at the track.
I would at least take them out and check the gap. I think it's 1.0-1.1mm

could just change them for peace of mind, at 20-50$ for a set of plugs it's nice to know the ones in there are fresh. just make sure they're pre-gapped to the right spec or gap them/get them gapped yourself.

I would always recommend to just change them. If you are going in there to inspect them, just put some new ones in and forget about them for another 30k.
Red box NGKs from Honda (~$100) or get the same NGK PFR7G-11S plugs from your local auto parts store for ~$60 and gap it down to 0.039-0.043 (1.0-1.1mm). Please use common sense when gapping or ask how. Good luck!

18ft lbs is the torque spec
My NGK: IFR7G-11KS already had anti seize on it and I think most of the new plugs come with it already on but you can't really tell.

hmm..time to change my spark plugs. never did it before and didn't think i was going to until 100k miles (I'm at 60k)
should i just order plugs from H&A or magestic?
And does anyone have a favorite small torque wrench? my big one for wheels isn't going to cut it.
