Nice deal!

You'll get a chance to break it in on the way back too!

Yeah I get the feeling Blair is going to get my business. Just a matter of time now.

Yeah, I was ready to go with Blair, until I started looking into shipping arrangements and costs. Once I found out about that, I decided to ask around locally before deciding for sure. I didn't want to have to worry about varying the engine speeds for break in over the 200 miles drive back, not to mention rock & stone chips, etc.

Hopkins just happened to be near my work, and I went in there thinking there's no way they would accept my offer.

Stevens Creek quoted me $31005, but I didn't really try to haggle, as they were too far away from Blair. As of Sunday, Stevens Creek had a Silverstone/Black, Sebring/Black, Red/Black, Yellow/Black, and White/Tan to choose from.

For what it's worth, Hopkins has another Silverstone/Black on the showroom floor, although it has been on a lot of test drives. (83 miles on the Odo, lots of brake dust, lots of fingerprints, stuff like that.)

Hey Ben, I will give Hopkins a shot before I venture out of town. PM me with your sales guy if you wanna get a referral when I stop in. Not sure if they do that, but I once got a $50 check for referring my ex to Lexus.

Hey guys, i'm not sure if your still interested in buying an s2 in the bay.. but if you are, i'd like to try n help you out. I work in palo alto over at Anderson Honda, where i also bought my 04 berlina black. I'm not sure how far i can get my sales manager to drop the price, but i'm willing to try. When i bought my car 3 months ago, i paid 31,500. However i'm pretty sure i might be able to do better now, due to the year end sale. If you're still interested, PM me or email me. (jsonlien@andersondirect.dealsnap.com) Also about figuring out the monthly costs of the s2, please feel free to give me a call at work. 650 856 6000 Hope to hear from you soon!
