Thumbs up What would you guys pay for a 2000 AP1 White S2000

Looks to be in excellent condition and has a new soft top recently installed. Car has about 60k miles and located in the Chicago area.

Was going to fly out there to examine it but just thinking what would be a reasonable price for the car?

Seems to be an older couple that owns it and they want to sell the car to make room in their garage.

I think it's relatively stock except for some minor mods....advice?

thanks,
rick

Well just talked to the guy and the body and paint is all in like new condition along with the interior seats that he says is "perfect" with no scuff marks or wear on the bolsters.

The top was replaced with a heavy duty aftermarket top (glass window) so that is in great shape too.

Wheels are OEM but with plenty of tread left and all TSB's done.

No rust or damage, he says KBB would rank it excellent.

thanks,
rick

I would get some pics of that. You may not like the way it looks.

Is it really going to save enough to justify the extra time and travel expense?

depending on the condition. i would pay anywhere from 15k to 18k

15k if you can talk them down and minor dings

18k if its completely mint condition.

i always figure that white was always worth a bit more. since everyone wants white.

i was supposed to buy a white one. id still give mine up for a white one.

Offer him KBB and if he takes it you come up on top because of the hardtop.
