I'm with Rob on this one, assuming there was no damage to my car, I probably would have snapped a picture for laughs and just left. Why bother with him in the first place? What if he came out and tried to move the car and scratched yours? Or he got mad and decided to do real damage to your car for the problems?

I agree it's a horribly dumb thing for him to do but I would not stick around to test my luck unless this was a place I had to park each day in which case even more reason it's not a good idea to piss the other person.

I'd love to see a picture of the owner though just for laughs and WHAT WAS THE REASON HE PARKED SO CLOSE TO YOU? Can't be totally random....not saying you did anything to him but maybe he doesn't like your vanity plate? (another reason not to have one)
