Just once I got pulled over and it was for an unsafe lane change and doing 85 in a 65. Sort of a bs ticket in terms of the lane change, I was doing 85 though. I fought it with a TBD, I guess he never responded so I won by default.

I just got one 2 weeks ago doing 80 on 65 right after the last on ramp before the toll Plaza in San Mateo bridge coming from Hayward. I'm still waiting for the letter and I'm going to try that TBD

111mph in 65. Walked away with ticket.

Outcome. 2 point for 7 years. $900 ticket. Court appearance.

Insurance doubled

You will.. Provide pics with your statement and "X" and "O" the entire thing with locations such as where you were spotted to where you pulled over and the speeds. I used Google Maps to save the time and effort of actually taking pictures. I covered over 2.5 miles and it was a moto cop and still was able to scrape by without the ticket.

This link greatly helped me out as I never wrote one before.

I am going to do a TBD for a 62 in a 30 zone. I genuinely believe the posted speed is artificially low for the area I was driving in. As all traffic I have ever seen there is always doing 45-50mph. I was pulled over while coasting downhill off throttle when there was absolutely zero traffic on the road.

Are police in CA required to have lights on when setup as a speed trap? I was pulled over by two cars who were pulled up a steep driveway with no lights on.
