i use this:

the black/yellow craftsman stuff is garbage. the build quality of their 'racing' jacks are so superior by comparison.
i have about a dozen jackstands of various kinds. habor freight? craigslist should find you some cheap jackstands too.
edit: oh yeah before i jack up my POS, I drive my honda on some 2x6 wood.

I have 2 jacks that I use. One is a Harbor Freight aluminum low profile one and the other is an old steel Kragen one. The Harbor Freight is low enough to fit under the side jack points even with a 3/4" drop however it doesn't have enough travel to lift the car high enough for me to slide my whole body underneath it. That is were the Kragen one comes in handy. Its too tall to fit under the side jack points, but with help from the Harbor Freight one, I use it to jack from the front and rear jack points to get the car up really high.

I have an harbor freight aluminum one for the last 4 years. Fits under all the S2K's I've worked on that was slammed, even Mecca's, with his 2" ride height.
Harbor Freight also makes the same aluminum jack, but in a mini model, it's like 3/4's the size and even lower.
