Get some HTRZIII's

These hold up well on the back roads, and in storms like last night.
I get about 5k per set of the htrz3

5K, miles of what? Burning out? I've never had a set last me less than 12K miles and that's cause I popped a tire somehow.

12k on rear tires means you aren't drivin fast enough. I have oem suspension and oem alignment. I don't do burn outs.

Lol sorry ill shut up. We have the same tires but different drivin styles. I put 2,000 miles on my car each month and that includes about 4 hours of mountain roads per week. I guess I should have mentioned that part.

for zero track use, i wouldn't spend the money on star specs or rs3's.

i loved HTRZIII's when i had them. quiet. comfortable. sticky. cheap.

Lol. My new avatar sig.. Haha

I killed my rear bfgoodridge kdw 2 within 1 3k mile oil change... That totally hurt my pockets big time.. Then I finally coughed up $70 for an alignment and been good ever since..

If you ruin your tires in 5k miles, you need alignment.

We do have the same tires; but how do you know my driving style? I've put on 57K in my 27 months of ownership. The fact that you're running oem suspension w/ oem alignment settings makes your claim seem more like something isn't right, than it did before. Your telling me you run through HRTZ's 3x as fast as I do when I'm running PSS9's with a UK based alignment but with 1.2F/2.4R camber, and that's because "I don't drive fast enough"? I mean, I'd never go as far as to say I have racing genes in my DNA, but I'm a longgggg ways from a slow driver, or slow driving.

It sounds more like you're driving on roads made of cheese graters, or you have an alignment issue.
