9 times out of 10 if I can't sleep it's because I'm replaying laps in my head, thinking of ways to improve. I find counting my breaths, backwards from 100, and starting over if I think about anything else helps me.

Recently I've tried using a reptition of a certain phrase to lull me to sleep when the doesn't cut do the trick. And that has worked tremendously well when necessary.

For reals. If I don't work, I find myself doing this. College days screwed up my sleeping schedule.

Jonzy, have you tried taking sleeping pills? That might work, but you'll have to deal with the drowsy feeling when you wake up.
