I hope its not made in Ohio...
Why?

They export their Accords to Japan.
BMW Z4's are made here an export.

Because if I was to pay that kind of money for a Japanese car; I want those Japanese workers in a Japanese managed Honda plant to make it just like all the other Honda's I've owned in the past/current. Theres something to be said of Japanese quality & build for material things and I believe its included in the cost of what you buy. $0.02

It looks like a lot of other cars... doesn't stand out in any particular way.
Looks R8 ish in the front and like a modified TL in the rear.
You wanna be excited because of the name... but is it really something to be excited about... I guess you don't have much choice? Maybe over time it will grow on the community.
I don't remember not being excited about the NSX in its orginal form, but we're not there and that time is not this one.
The technology like the first one will be a huge leap forward for super cars.

One could say the original design was a Japanese copy of Italian cars of the time. The Japanese Ferrari. Did that make it any less cool? Nope.

I'm saving my pennies
I agree. I think many Japanese cars are replicas of a sort, but case in fact so are many cars. That aside it doesn't change the un-unique look of this particular offering.

That's because they are primarily sold in the US market.

I also believe that the US made Honda's are not as well made as the Japan's ones.

For cars like the NSX they won't let just anyone build it. You have to be good at the art to even be hired to build one. Same kind of quality control happens for the Corvette, only people that have been working in the trade will be allowed to build it, and it will be built in a special facility that builds only that car. It's treated and built very differently than a regular car like a Civic.

When I buy one you can chew apart the build quality in person

Look for the NSX Superbowl commercial during 3rd Quarter. It'll have Jerry Seinfeld in it. It's on youtube right now of course, but I'd wait for the surprise to see it on national tv instead.
