Maybe the South Bay group can do a Friday dinner in PA that week, that is, if they are still happening.

The computer history museum in Mountain View is pretty nifty if you're a nerd like me. So is the Tech Museum in San Jose.

it's been ages since I ventured out in that area.
Stay away from E.P.A. ( I guess it has been mentioned above)

If you're looking for some places to get a bite Gordon Biersch is located
right downtown P.A.

enjoy your stay.

On Friday and Saturday nights...go to Miyake which is also located on University Ave. It's on the corner and I don't remember the cross street. But lots of Stanford girls.

Chelsea Clinton was a regular back then. My cousin use to work there.

the haight&ashbury district is usually a pretty popular place to go for more of the urban wear. they have stores like true, kid robot, stussy, etc.

there's also huf, which is verrrry nice, but the clothes are pretty pricy.

then there's also always downtown! bloomingdales and the san francisco shopping center, and union square!

If you're driving: take 101 North exit 3rd(?) street in SF and it takes you
right in middle of SF downtown.

Also accessible by Caltrain which takes you SoMa - by Embarcadero (ATT park)

Have fun in your visit and ignore the panhandlers if you can.

Shopping? Bloomies is right there when you get to Market st. and 3rd.
