lucas is too heavy for s2K engine , i would run that with a race car or super high revving engines.

My vote is getting your oil analyzed when you next change it. Make the decision to stick with your current oil or go another direction based on that data.
Having used oil analyzed is the best way, BUT, considering the total cost and time to testing different oils, I rather just spend sometime, and do some researches online. There are many UOA results online, different brands and grades of oils and other fluids.
For many daily driving commuter cars, I bet even if you use non synthetic 2 dollar oils, you won't have any problem if you simply just do your maintain on time.

Mutol is good too.

I don't have personal experience with either, so my decision not to use either is from what I've read about both. They don't get very good UOA reports and I'm always leary of companys that spend so heavily on marketing.

To an extent that's helpful, but in the end, each engine is somewhat unique based on driving conditions and how the car is utilized. The oil I'd recommend for someone using their car 100% on the track is different than someone doing 100% stop and go, etc. For example, a racing oil will likely be properly warmed up and changed frequently, so lubrication properties when cold and additives aren't really a priority.

On average, oil is going to get changed every 5k miles / 4 months or so. Start off with a synthetic and do an analysis. If the report comes back positive, stick with it. If it's not optimal, try another oil. IMO, you'll likely not have to go through more than 2 tests to get certainty that the oil you're using is appropriate for your engine, driving style, and environment.

I know royal purple has been shown in earlier UOAs to have sheared down much faster than other oils.

I believe Jei @ BlackTrax told me they don't use Royal Purple in their race cars because it breaks down too quickly. Or I think it was Jei anyways...

spend some time on bobistheoilguy.com and come to your own conclusion on what will work best for you. in my case, penzoil platinum and amsoil were both recommended for my very short commute (2 miles) to work with a 5000-6000 oil change interval (fuel dilution). using redline or another high end oil (even though amsoil is high end) was not recommended as it would be a waste of money.

Amsoil for me

But I use Mobil 1 in my Evo and never burn a drop. I guess the F20c just doesn't like Mobil 1.
