Cindy and I went for a drive on 1/21-22/'11, one day to the mountains the next day we went to the coast. 817 miles over two days and just beautiful weather(did not see one cloud on Friday). Here are some pic's of our drives, if you would like the maps I can post those to.

I'm out of Sacramento so my route was a little different than this one, but out of the Bay Area this is close...

Some of the roads are fast, some not so fast and the road can be wet even with no rain so don't go into a dry corner fast if you can't see if its wet on the other side. You want to have fun and still have a car to drive the next weekend so don't over do it.
