Default On the way home from So. Cal.

On my way back to the bay I got into an accident in Buena Park by the carmax there on I5. Two people got in an accident in the fast lane, stopped, then got out of their cars in the fast lane still. It basically made everyone stop on a dime. I had sizeable room from the car in front of me but the crappy construction part of the highway I guess made it hard to get consistant traction for my tires and my S didnt come to a complete stop in time. Now I have a front bumper, hood, Headlights and whatever interior pieces to replace. It didnt reach the radiator thankfully and the hood still latched so I drove it all the way back up.

I went to get an estimate for the damages and with insurance rate at the body shop its gonna cost $3,800 to fix.

Yea i get all new headlights which my passenger one was scuffed, new hood and bumper. Its a good thing I didnt put my lip, Intake or if I had won the CF hood at the Spugen BBQ.

Its in the shop now tho so it'll be nice and shiny when I get it back.

Sucks. Be sure to tell the body shop not to reattach the front plate. That is what I did years ago. Never regretted it.
