Default wats a good tire for CA weather with a good price

i need new tires for my 17 ap2 v1 rims. im lookin for new tires with good traction and is still driveable in the rain. i had falken 512s on my 16s and they were nice but i need a tire for a good price for my 17's. right now i have bridgestone potenza 009 in the rear and my car feels like a boat. there is a lot more roll and the back end can come out rather easily. so wats a good set of tires, looking to spend under 150 per tire. also has to have good life.
