War of the Heroes II
It's official, our friend Jake *The Snake* Timoteo (ushjt). Has been added to the fight card for this month's Feburary 21st event at the Santa Clara Convention Center. He will be fighting for Team Fairtex at a Fairtex sponsored event called "War of the Heroes II". This is an Amateur/Pro Muay Thai Kickboxing event. There will be world champions from Thailand and other areas flying in to fight as well.
This event will include both male & female fights. For Pro fights ANYTHING GOES! punches/kicks/elbows/knee's, with no usage of pads! For Amateur fights all the above from Pro fight applies minus elbows to the head.
A little about our personal fighter....
Jake Timoteo is a Santa Clara native who is 20 years of age with 8-9 years of Muay Thai experience and currently attending SJSU for some random degree he probably will never put to use in the real world.
His last attempt at a fight was in Thailand, but due to a fractured foot while over there, his fight was cancelled. This is his first returning debute fight in many years. He will be fighting in the 150lb weight class versus an unknown fighter who has a background in boxing and now muay thai kickboxing...
The american winners of the event will also be selected to be apart of this years Team U.S.A's world competition where they will battle it out in Bangkok Thailand later this year!
With that said, we would love for everyone to make it out to the event and show some support!

for those who have never gone to watch a fight before, it is a lot of fun especially when you know someone that will be fighting. a few of the members here should know what i'm talking about
