950 is alot for stock steats , get some better holding seats.
There's no reason why they are stolen.

I bought a similar set off craigslist about a year ago. Price advertised was $1000.00, i talked him down to $750.00.

The guy had no idea what year they were out of. Weird right? not really.

He owned a porche shop in the bay area, and had at least 5 100k porches chillin in their shop garage.

They were for a customers car (not a porche) and they decided to go with a racing seat instead.

People jump to accuasations around here like it's no tomorrow.

Not every s2000 owner, is on the forums, to know the color code for his car. I'm sure he put that special color nonsense cus he "thinks" he's going to get more money.

besides, i bet some owners have bought stolen parts and dont even know it. you can't judge a book by its cover, you never know who the thieves really are.

okay so after e-mail back and forth, the seller wants to meet in public place. He wont be showin up in the s2k cuz he cant fit the seats in there. He did email pics of the seats inside a ap2 sebring (but that dont mean much as you can find those pics easily). I really dont know if it legit or not, but since no s2k owner here report stolen seats lately ima go ahead to check them out on moday.

oh btw I ask him to meet at his house where i can see his s2k with aftermarkets seats or whatever to really prove he got a s2k but he prefer not to meet stranger at his home...

Are you going to meet with the seller by yourself? I would bring a friend or two with me just in case. Especially when I've been hearing stories about people getting jacked from dealing with others through craigslist.

I'm not surprised he didn't want to meet at his house. Personally I would've done the same and meet with a potential buyer/seller at a pubic place than at my own home where I have all my valuable possessions and more importantly where I live.

stock 04 sebring silver has the red black seats as one choice and the black as another. i have the red/black stock seats in mine, so o4 seats that are red and black are legit, and grey is close to silver.
