Default Want to borrow Camera mount

anyone in the bay willing to let me borrow their camera mount? i'm going to need it on april 19th. i have a sticky pod, but i dont think theres anywhere good to put it in the s2k. sooo help me out please! i will be very grateful

sorry no camera mount but good luck on the find you should post some track video if you are able to find a camera mount good luck.

fab your own mount. You can go get a sheet of fiberglass or plexiglass, drill a few holes, remove the wind deflector, and mount it there. I've seen people do it, and had a friend that did the same thing. Worked great, with low vibration.

Too bad, I can't post my pics (as a guest) when I installed my own camera mount last weekend.

It was a very easy process, all material you need can be found in Fry's and ACE hardware store, total cost is around $25.

Here is what I did:

I bought a min-tripod ($16), then took off the ball-head by removing the screw from the bottom. Then drilled a hole in front the wind screen and installed the ball-head. Tried out it works great.

check out the following link (not by me) for ideas.

sorry, here is the link: not exactly what I did, but you can get some ideas from it. the key is to buy a mini-tripot and take the ball-head section.
