I hear you man. You also forgot to mention that being a new track, Infineon has a lack of rubber on the launch pad. Resulting in poor traction but. I think a stock S2000 and or a stock RX-8 shouldn't have any real big traction issues. I pulled a 2.0 60 ft my first time at the track. And I only had about 1 months worth of behind the wheel time with the car.

None. Just a nice 6500 rpm launch. Got some wheel spin and feathered the throttle until I got traction. Tires bit, then I hammer it.
My last car was a traction nightmare (Supercharged Integra GSR). The car would seriously do 60 mph burnouts on street tires. I could just be cruising in second gear and hammer the throttle and the tires would just light up. I had to run my drag radials if I wanted to give the car WOT, it was that bad. But after driving that car 30+ times at the track and 50 billion times at the Milpitas street races, driving the S2000 was a breeze. One of the east cars I
