shiftr is a piece of shit website too. their "photographers" have some grainy as shit. their layout is wack along with many of their "feature" cars.

LOL i've never seen a 300C VIP style thats y I thought it was a bit clean. Just saw this off random sites. Overall not bad..may not be "JDM" but okay looking custom car IMO.

correct me if im wrong(im sure someone will)
but the difference can be car selection and modding, it seems vip is more subtle, well it doesnt shout out at you as much, and uses more jdm i suppose. like a dub car would have 22's with spinners, but a vip more likely to have just 20's to give the car a cleaner look.
