Default Vibration from lowering

Are u guys getting the vibrations of the axels from having your cars lowered? I put about 20K miles since lowering the car and it's getting annoying. I did some research on the forums and some people say do the CV bucket swap (which I'm not mechanically inclined) or install the axel Spacers.

Which method have you guys taken and what were the results? Did the vibrations stop? Thanks.

What is exactly vibrating? the whole car? steering wheel or do you just feel it in the rear?

Could be anything, bent wheels? not correctly balanced wheel? is your alignment good? or like you mentioned it could be the axle but a more detailed explanation would help if possible

The car seems to be vibrating during accelerations and it feels like it's coming from the rear. I feel it mostly under 30 mph. I took the car on a drive on the freeway yesterday and I also feel the steering wheel shaking a bit around 70 mph. The alignment is good and the wheels are balanced as far as I know and all the tire pressures have also been checked.

Typically a vibration during acceleration on lowered car is a result of pitted CV cups. You can either use the spacers to move the bearings to a different location in the cup or swapping the cups which changes which face the bearings wear against.

I've done both and both fix the issue. What often is the process that happens is people do the spacer thing as it is a easier fix and once the vibrations come back again, which they will, they do the CV swap.

I think I may have a similar issue.
I'm getting a LOUD scraping noise from the rear which is usually audible after 15min of driving the car. Its an oscillating noise which increases/decreases in frequency according to tire rotation. I installed the axle spacers and it didnt help.

It has to be a problem isolated to the diff, cv cups or bearing. I swear it sounded like my rotor was scraping against the dust shield!

I think I may just swap in a used axle and hub at the same time... Opinions?

that sounds similar to mine when my rotor was warped...

I've actually never had a warped rotor before.
I'm not sure if this is coincidence, but I've noticed that I cant hear any noise when i turn left, but when i'm turning right the noise can be immediately heard. Then again, when im driving straight i can still hear it.

Been too busy to really look into it so i stopped driving the car..
Hmm maybe this weekend ill roll my fenders and check out the rotors as well. Maybe I can just hold up a straight edge against the back of the rotors all the way around in order to see if theyre straight or not.
