i would rather do this mod to my oem hood than buy a cf hood. i love the look of vented hoods. will probably be doing it soon once the weather clears up on the weekends. shouldnt be too hard. just need a few tools and patience.
to those of you who have done this would you mind giving a hand or tips and what not to help with the process? also if you have tools such as the air saw and wet dry sander i could borrow let me know, thanks!

nice looking hood. im curious what other colors for the vents would look good on a berlina except the standard dark grey or black

im thinking of making the vents yellow on a berlina black hood/car just because it stands out haha but idk how it would look. maybe red or just grey-ish to match my cf front lip.

just go with black, the purpose of the vented hood is to let heat out, along with a few other reasons , imo it would look very tacky painted a different color, other than black and silver
if you wanted to try the look of another color, rather than have someone photoshop it, WHEN you cut the holes, try putting different colored mesh/ or cheap plastic mesh than you can paint, then you can see it in person.
