Default valve adjustment

sup guys

so today after work imma learn how to do a valve adjustment on my s2k

so i was wondering if ne one knew the valve specs so i space them correctly

my friend is a master mechanic so im not worried about doing it wrong i just need the specs


my car is a 2001 w 100k miles

Any recommended milege intervals for a necessary valve adjustment? 45K on my S and redline occassionally. Thanks.

I did mine at 30k and probably should have done it a bit sooner but it wasn't too bad just a little beyond what I would have liked.
The exhaust side is tight and the intake side is usually loose from what I've seen.

i usually do mine every 15k. i think brians2000 mentioned somewhere that most s2k's should get it done around then. but i could be wrong.

I'll probably start checking mine every 15k and then extend it depending on what I see. I think the first one for sure should be done at 15k

I looked up the factory recommended interval for valve adjustment and its says "Adjust only if noisy".

Normally I would say follow MFG recommendations, but there has to be some time interval. Looked up some other high revving Honda motors (B18c5) and its recommended every 30K.
