Default uuughhhhhh

what a crappy past few months since i sold my S.

i traded the S in for a truck so that i could take my dogs around and just have a generally more useful car. then i moved to the mountains and having a suburban (wifes car) and a truck that got horrible gas mileage just wasnt working while commuting a combined 150mi per day.

the truck was still useful so we traded the suburban in for a hyundai veloster :| needed the gas mileage and the warranty since we will be driving so much.

im actually pretty surprised with the car. the steering is nice and tight (dare i say almost reminiscent of the S?) and the car came with tons of features. for a cheap commuter car that gets an average of 30mpg with lots of driving up and down highway 9, page mill, and boulder creek road, i cant complain at all.

so, the real point of this post-

whats up with the drives?????? id love to join you guys for some drives again, im sure i can keep up with the tail end of the pack!

I miss the S sooo damn much!

Nothing wrong with the veloster. I actually like it. The first time I saw it was last year on the summer xgames rally. I wouldn't mind at all driving this car but I can't give up my s hahaha 8 years waiting for this since high school is way too long for me to let the S go; I digress. But anyways congrats on the purchase, great gas mileage and handling compared to the S is a pretty good deal

Where are you in the mountains? We could be neighbors?

The upcoming turbo Veloster could be an appealing daily driver.

Never even heard of the thing before you said something. Googled it. Not a very handsome thing, but looks good in Red Bull livery.
Man you must miss the S.

I'm pretty happy with the looks of it for what it is. Better than a sedan!

Once debt is paid off I'll be looking at my 3rd S or if things are going well I might try to get an NSX, for now its nice to have all of the features that came with the car like bluetooth, pandora, touch screen radio... They are supposed to release remote start from my iPhone too.

I never thought I would own a Hyundai, but i admit that I am impressed.

They make decent little cars. Nothing wrong with them. Remind me of honda in the 70's

I like how the Hyundai Veloster looks from the rear

My favorite Hyundai is the Genesis...omg looks freakin' awesome!

Even the Sonata's look pretty cool too. Somehow they remind me of the Mercedes CLS a bit. lol

Or you can have a Hyundai Genesis Convertible

Never thought I'd like Hyundai but I'm starting to. Way to go for aspiring Hyundai designers sure knows how to target their potential audience.
