Talking usa gasoline
i filled up a full tank this morning, and payed with my card. just checked my online statement, it was only $1.00!!!

The full amount will show up in a day or two. The $1 charge is just to validate the credit card.

Yeah i figured that. But it rarely happens with my bank. Oh and its not a credit card btw.

For either Credit card or Debit card non-pin transactions, card authorizations will show up first with $ usually less or equal to $1. Posted transactions will have the true dollar amt.

If you use your Debit card and entered PIN, then the dollar amt will be deducted instantly from your acct.
