i'll chime in since i've been orgainzing these dent days lately.

every time i put one on, i get 15 confirmed cars and about half show up. i remind and remind people to make sure they are coming or to let me know to take them off the list up until the day before it goes on.

dent repair people charge $80-100/dent normally. rates have been $35+/dent for our dent days.

if there is a minimum of 12 confirmed cars i will work on getting a saturday AM dent day going for the middle of august. taking a deposit might be a good idea....
thanks for organizing these - I know it takes time on your part

I just can't justify coming out to SF for a single dent since gas both ways would defray any savings I may have gained. My s2k does need to see a dent guy one of these days in the south bay preferred.

The dent guy will go where he needs to. We have had them in Fremont and Dublin in the past. It's just a question of who organizes it where it is held.

Deposit to secure a spot in the queue sounds like a good idea, as long as the deposit is reasonable.

I'm interested also. I didn't signup for the last dent day cause it's just to far of a drive. Low turn out might just be location issue. The one's I gone too in the Southbay always had great turn out.

I am not willing to drive all the way to the south bay and organize a dent day; especially since I haven't required any service the past 4-5 dates. If someone wants to be a coordinator for the a location other than SF then I can get this set up for you guys.

There wasn't a problem with attendance because enough cars signed up; the problem was with people flaking and not showing up.

I'm willing to plan one for the south bay as I need to do a few of my cars.

My initial idea is to do the dent repair at the Milpitas Great Mall parking garage roof but not sure how security might feel about that.

Or we can just find an empty public location since there are tons of empty office buildings I know of with no security issues.

who's down for a SOUTH BAY (Milpitas/SJ) location?
