Hey Everett and other Bay Area S2k owners -
I'll be up in the Biggity Bay (from LA) the weekend of 1/23 to attend a friend's wedding Saturday afternoon.
A little background about myself - I am a former Benz owner (1999 C230K) and a car enthusiast. I parted out my C230K in September and picked up a 2003 S2k at that time because it's simply a joy to drive, and that was what I was looking for.
I was and still am quite involved with the Benz forums, and this is what brings me to this post - some of the Benz guys are having an informal lunch GTG on Saturday, and just wanted to pass this info onto you guys in case you guys wanted to come on out - I'm coming up with the S2k, and it's always exciting to see/meet new folks/cars.

Please note that I am not attempting to organize a Bay Area GTG, etc. - or stepping on anyone's toes/territory. Just wanted to post this info up out of mutual respect for cool cars and cool members.

When: Saturday, Jan. 24th
Time: 11am
Place: Union Landing in Union City (where Krispy Kreme is at)
Meeting place: Meet in front of Baby's R Us
Lunch at: Fuddrucker's
Directions: Off 880, exit Alvarado Niles. It's on the west side of 880. Babies R Us is visable from the freeway.
