Because I don't buy my racing tires from typical shops, I always get jacked when I take rims/tires in to get mounted and balanced. Anyone have a hook up who'll do the work for cash? Closer to SJ the better.

I got America's tire co. to do $15/tire after calling back a few times. I bought from tirerack.

Quite a few places jacked up previous sets of rims I've had when I brought it to em... the normal place I go to now is Tyre Treds in Hayward. Best job ever (really careful w/ rims), good service, about $17/tire to mount/balance.

These are race rims...so I'm not worried about cosmetics. I just hate having to pay $60-$80 to have a set mounted.

Some of those local gas stations will prob do it then for cash. The ones with the garage/lifts normally have everything.. chevrons.. shell..

Got mine mounted and balanced for $50... Rims came back perfect. no scratches or residue leftover.
