Two-way radios

I just picked up a pair of Motorola two-way radios. Which channel and code do people on group drives use? My radio has 14 channels and 38 codes for each channel.

Usually settled before the drive. We've used a few diffent ones.

We usually pick a channel and code that isn't busy before the drive.
