I believe there is a TSB issued for this.

My story with my S2k3

off to the dealer we go.

1st time. what click, car returned without gas

2nd time. oh that click, we fixed it,, car returned without gas

3rd time. oh we thought we fixed it, we'll order new parts and put them in, come back, car returned with some gas

4th time. parts are in, we did both sides, car returned without gas and ran out on the way home

5th time..... what is the point? I am now in therapy and don't hear the click anymore

i just fixed it for hiro and brian(ptype) earlier tonight, they both said the noise was gone. pm me.

and 2 months later i find out what that noise is =P. im going to do this first thing in the morning.

does anyone have a 36mm i can borrow or wanna do this for me? for some reason i read 32mm and wasted 10 mins of my life.

We just did it at Vu's place and i still got it
Its better though, i think i may just go on with a new spindle nut and hopefully it will be better.
