Hello all,

in my old Socal stomping grounds w/my gf. busy few days planned. will do a full recap later. picked up some coilovers, ordered a hardtop (install tomorrow), trying to find some wheels, going to LAKERS playoff game later tonight, getting my fenders rolled & few dents removed.

here's a few fender roll & dent removal pics as i wait. will add more pics of our adventures periodically. Meeting some really cool people so far.

oh, i am pretty happy w/the fender rolls i got from shane. i won't say much more cuz i don't want to turn this into an unauthorized promo (had that prob w/another thread i created, & others started vouching for another guy too). he's a cool guy tho. very good work, patient, & professional.

for everyone else, here's a pic of the buddy club coilovers i got from jeff. even more happy that they fit PERFECTLY under our luggage in the sunken trunk compartment. now, i can bring even MORE stuff back!

 

yeah, 2 diff guys. i contacted spunky, but he never responded. i read good things about shane, so i dropped him a line too. i was going to hit you up, noodler, but shane is closer to where i'm staying.

 

first meal when we hit LA was at Savoy in Alhambra for some Hainan Chicken, iced lemon tea, & iced chrysanthemum tea. people are gonna hate me for blowing up the spot. it's already busy enough as it is. i used to go there all the time. my friends & i went so often, they were giving us free drinks & food! LOL

 

had bfast earlier this morning at Leroy's in Arcadia.

 

will try to post some better pics of the LAKERS game after i get back home. tired and still bummed about our gutless "performance" this series. just making the playoffs is all good & fine for other squads, but not for the 16x CHAMPIONS! smh.

they messed up & jinxed us. shoulda given out yellow rally towels, like in 2010 when we won our most recent rings.


this dude might as well been dwight howard cuz dwight played & acted like a clown tonight! 2 techs & getting dq'd in an elimination playoff game?! aye carumba.



drowning my sorrows at the bar w/KB. man, we needed him. hope he comes back next year. debilitating injury & huge payout due next year are gonna make it difficult.


had to hit the LAKERS store for some retail therapy. man, it was pretty much a ghost town in there. after even reg season wins, the place is packed for a couple hrs. it was just nuts after their most recent championship.


i seriously felt sick to my stomach after the game.
