Unfortunately, according to the local weather forecast it is supposed to rain the entire weekend... which would explain why not many people responded.
I'll try to make it.
Cheers,

I may join you. I had in mind a drive down to Pebble beach this Sunday but had thought of cancelling due to the expected bad weather. You're trip sounds good though and if I can change my Saturday plans I'll join.

Hmm ... I LIVE in emeryville ... I hope I run into some S2000's since, it seems like at least of couple of you will be around!
Look for my growling Red/Black!

I'd like to join you guys and I have two friends at work who'd like to join as well (both have S2Ks also). One problem though, it looks like we may not be able to meet you all until around noon, and it looks like rain is more likely in the afternoon, so I'm not sure you're going to be out and about at that time.
Do you know where you might be around mid-day? Can you (umvue) email or PM me your cell phone number so we can try and connect on Saturday if possible?
I'll post an update when we figure out if an earlier departure is possible.

The loop from Livermore to San Jose is 70 miles. There aren't really many side roads along the path either. Your only hope of meeting the group in the middle is to come up from San Jose and make a U-turn when you see a group of S2000's go by.
According to the weather report this morning, rain shouldn't arrive in the Bay Area until late Saturday afternoon. I'm guessing that Saturday may be one of the last chances for a good long drive in the mountains before the rainy season arrives. I hate to get my car wet, but I'll be there for this one.
