I have my X shut off, but I've left my K on because I'm paranoid; though it is getting pretty freakin annoying.

Sounds like one of those GPS-equipped detectors is the only way to go if you're buying new. So expensive, though...

Has anyone encountered a LEO actually using K band in the bay area? Back where I used to live, they were primarily Ka, but a legitimate K actually did pop up every once in a while; which is the reason for my leaving K on. I have yet to see K on a LEO in the south bay.

I picked up K band once in the Bay. Can't remember where though.
