Trackmasters and HOD to require roll protection?

I seem to remember paying about $800. The part of the install that takes all the time are the roll hoops...you have to cut the trim around the hoops to accept the roll bar and it takes time because if you dont get it right you just screwed up your trim....some people dont replace the roll hoops (you dont really need them now that you have a roll bar) but for aesthetic reasons I did replace mine. If you choose not to replace the roll hoops, the install is much easier.

WOW. $800, plus $800-$1000 for the bar?

Thats about right. You can do the install yourself if you have the time...do a search for 'Hard Dog roll bar install' and you will find all kinds of threads.
