awesome i didnt know you were attending this event. well f1 spec (located in south city) offers bucket seats plus rails for a good price-picked my passenger up for $300 total w/ extra low side mount, prolly about $500 for both which is cheaper, faster, and local that will most likely be your best bet
yup im going
thanks ken! ill check these seats out this weekend, looked at the website, the seats look like good quality bucket seats, looks similar to the mugen bucket. seen them around too.

Im almost the same build as you, think im a little shorter, so let me know how they fit you. are they holding up well? snug and comfy? let me know how these seats are working out for you. do you have them in the drivers side as well, i forgot, jw though, alot of questions.

i had some cheaper seats before (corbeau forza's $600 for a set in my e30) but the build quality on these seats scared me away from budget bucket seats, they started falling apart after a couple months.

I've never ran with them, so I can't comment if they do actually do the broomstick test.
seems like not many ppl have done events with ncrc, well at least from s2ki, looks like they have alot of fairly priced events coming up though

^^^i'm currently running the type 4 and love it. i borrowed brian/washabi's type 5 and it was a little too tight for me since I have a really wide back. the type 4 was super comfy and made my drive down to buttonwillow very bearable. they have a bunch of seats at the warehouse you can test out, but i think i already bought the last type 4. try the type 3-recaro spg replica those should be pretty good.

so how many people are going to the NCRC event on Feb 13, and which run groups did you guys sign up for?

I am still debating if I want to go or not. Usually I'd want to sign up for the Solo group, but it's filled, so I might sign up for the Point-By group.. I just don't feel quite as comfortable in the higher group, as my car (Del Sol) is a little underpowered. However, I am pretty familiar with T-Hill...
