The wet weather makes for a very educational day. If you're not smooth, it becomes very apparent when the surface is so slippery. And with the car going a lot slower, it's a good place to practice/improve car control fundamentals.
Being in a Miata, the wet stuff makes a great hp equalizer (to some degree).
