great, looks like the fast and furious can squeeze out another 5 sequels hahahaha. joking aside it does looks nice, i like the buttress design. im not feeling the front end though, the shape of the bumper reminds me of the 350Z. overall i think it needs to be a little more aggressive, its suppose to the flagship car. all we need now is a RX-7 concept.

None of those photos are concept photos they are just renderings that weren't even created by Toyota. And they are ooold.

Along with an article with no source to back up what they are saying.

Would love to see pics of what you did to your eclipse. I drove a 1999 eclipse for many years. My first car.

I lived in the midwest at the time so AWD was KING, none of these RWD convertibles would ever fly out there unless you had money for multiple cars which I did not.

I had a 91 GSX, and later a 97 GSX, I admit the blue car is a bit ricey but you have to remember Import car tuning in general was not an accepted sport and sites like s2ki / internet forums did not even exist so I modded with whatever I could get my hands on. The car industry in general has come a long way for you younger kids who don't know what it used to be like

Like my old rims...haha custom made:

Later bought my very first set of rims that costed me a fortune from TireRack:

Here's my 97 Eclipse at home:

Check out that exhaust tip, custom made good for 1000+hp

Full Kaminari body kit in full combat style, made over 450hp which was good for 11's was nothing to sneeze!

Loving this Rick. Thank you for sharing! Eclipses have a special place in my heart. I had a 1998 RS and my little sister ended up getting a 1995 GSX.

^No problem ~ it's too bad I had to sell the car back then or I would have loved to keep it. A lot of special memories in my younger days when we would do the road trip to Ohio for Bushchur Racing's DSM shootout!

I even thought about buying another one back but wife put a stop to that idea right away ROFL

not really digging the supra concepts. seems like a mish mosh of cars already on the market, incl r8, LFA, BRZ/FRS.... even the GT-R in the last pic. i've seen a lot of concept drawings & renderings from my friends that came from Art Center, one of the premier transportation design schools in the world, so i might be jaded a bit.

sidenote about the mitsu eclipses: my friend had the blue 1st gen HKS eclipse on Borbet Type As. that thing had everything in HKS' catalog on it (it was on the cover of it), but that thing was a POS. it was prob beat to hell by HKS by the time he got it, but I used to give it a run in my NA DA integra. then again, my car was a rare gem, a tuesday made integra. lol seriously, it was pretty much one of, if not THE quickest Honda/Acuras or NA imports in general back then. if you were in the import dragging scene on the track or street back then, you prob know the car, or at least the rear end. i'll post a pic someday.
